Medical Director, Transplant Surgeon
Dr. McLean attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio for his general surgery training and then completed a transplant surgery fellowship at the Texas Transplant Institute in San Antonio.
He is board certified in surgery, a fellow of the American College
of Surgeons and is Chief of Surgery at South Texas Health System.

Transplant Surgeon
Dr. Farias-Jimenez underwent his general surgery training at Easton Hospital, Easton, PA. He is board certified in surgery.
He comes to the South Texas Transplant
Center from the University of Texas, Houston,
where he was an instructor in surgery in the Department
of Abdominal Organ Transplantation.

Medical Director, Transplant Nephrologist
Dr. Moritz underwent internal medicine training and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Afterward, he completed a fellowship in nephrology at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH. He comes to the South Texas Transplant Center team from Central Texas Kidney Associates. He is board certified in nephrology.
